Plant update
19 June 2024 11:09 pmThe poached-egg plants are now in full bloom! (accompanied by nasturtiums)

And the marigolds are just beginning to come out, although they are not really golden yet.

( Flax, Swan River daisy, coriander, cornflower )
I threw away the second honesty seedling, which turned out to have barely any root on it, and finally got round to pricking out the thinned-out feverfew, keeping two plants. Even at this young age the leaves are strongly scented.
The single chilli seedling that I retained as an experiment from the 2023 seed after potting up the 2022 seed is showing every sign of dying, which is not a problem so far as this year is concerned (I currently have four vigorous albeit still tiny seedlings two inches high), but is somewhat concerning if it reflects an issue with the viability of the seed decreasing over multiple generations :-O
( Sage, tomatoes, rose )
