Blooms and buds

The sweetbriar and corn-camomile (overwintered, not this year's) are in bloom, as is the overwintered calendula... and the parsley and pak choi, unfortunately!

I think we *finally* have some Swan River daisy germination, although it's hard to be certain as I have been assiduously burying any sign of root appearing from out of seeds on the surface, and no shoots have as yet appeared. On the other hand we definitely do have three basil seedlings. Now that we know we have some, I have just tried sowing some of the saved seed from last year's basil, the flower stalks of which do seem to have dropped a few black seeds into the bottom of the envelope, and we shall see how and whether that comes out. I have also sowed some flax.

The feverfew, like the pink poppies, has germinated with embarrassing enthusiasm,( Poppies and evening primroses )
