igenlodeFinally working on my Philippe-reunion scene, which seems to be coming out rather cursory and unsatisfying compared to the pages and pages of preamble leading up to it. This is supposed to be one of the pivotal points in the story; maybe doing it from Christine-the-outsider's perspective wasn't such a good idea after all :-(
I need to decide whether Christine is going to be 'Miss Daaé' or 'Mademoiselle Daaé' -- I've got Lancard, for one, using both in different scenes according to what sounded best at the time! But since I've got the domestics using 'monsieur le Comte" and 'monsieur le Vicomte' rather than just "Comte" (and I think I've got to... unless I go outright for the English usage of 'My Lord', and perhaps I ought to, as I've used 'Sir' rather than 'mon lieutenant'/'mon capitaine' earlier on) I probably should be standardizing on 'Mademoiselle'.
