I bought a bottle of Vimto, out of curiosity.
I shall have to get used to drinking cough medicine over the next couple of months...

Still puzzling over possible titles. In addition to "Strange Meeting" and "Room for Two", I came up with "Dear Old Friend" (which would be perfect for a "Love Never Dies" story on this theme, but probably doesn't carry the right bitter undertones in the "Frozen" fandom; also I have a suspicion I've already used it as an LND chapter title somewhere) and "Yesterday and a Lifetime Ago", which I quite like as a title for a time-slip story without making the time-slip element too obvious before the start. Another possibility was "Auld Alliance" (again, probably inappropriate connotations, but I feel one ought to be able to do something with the 'old' angle).

I think I'm definitely going to split this one-shot into two chapters rather than running it as a single seven-thousand-word chapter, much as I did for A Child of the Law. The obvious place to split it is at what I thought was going to be the original midpoint, where all the backstory has been filled in, Anna knows where she is and how she got there and who Hans is and how he got there, and she tells him to get lost.

However, there isn't an obvious neat splitting-point (I think it needs to go on a little beyond "Just. Go. Away"), so it would involve either repeating a sentence or two at the start of the new chapter or else (preferably, I think) rewriting the newly-determined opening sentence so that it stands better on its own. The other issue is that Anna then launches immediately into deep angst, which may seem a bit abrupt without the previous rage and let-down...

Also, I need to come up with a separate tag for this story — and possibly its predecessor! — since it's still all running under the general heading of 'frozen'. Having a title would really help in that respect, though :-p

Ooh, I love "Yesterday and a Lifetime Ago". Sounds very poetic and meaningful.
