Embarrassing moment at the butcher's; I asked if he had any oxtail, he said he could get me one, but not by tomorrow, I said that was fine and could he get me one by Saturday? Whereupon he looked at me like an idiot.

For some reason I was under the impression that today was a Wednesday...

Everybody does it sometimes (and at least you havn't conscientiously trotted off to work... on a public holiday. Not a shining moment, though at least it made everyone laugh)

*grin* I once turned up to the wrong rehearsal in the wrong location because I'd got confused over whether it was Sunday and Saturday ;-p
