One disadvantage of the warmer days and temporary absence of rain is that I am now having to spend several pints of water a day in keeping my plants from drying out, with the associated necessity for trips up and down the stairs with water-carriers! I haven't yet put the big six-pint bottle back into operation, but perhaps I should...

Still no germination amongst the Swan River daisy seed, which is worrying (though I have shoo-fly seed, which I had not sown yet this year, springing up everywhere all of a sudden!) I am still hoping for future success with my second batch of Red Demon chillies, which I have been religiously carrying in and out to the mini-greenhouse and the kitchen windowsill according to which seemed warmer... the original seedling has still not even managed to break its seed-case and release its leaves :(
