Garlic

I had another head of garlic sprouting in the fridge, so I tried planting up a couple of cloves to see what would happen if it actually got to overwinter for once!

I should probably be planting up my narcissus bulbs rather than searching for them in the pots that I am currently busy emptying of plants that are dying back (I was convinced that the blue Swan River daisy pot had originally contained narcissi before they self-seeded themselves in it, but I couldn't find even the rotted remnants of the bulbs I was expecting...)

Well, it has already sprouted in the cupboard, so the question is whether the sprouts will green up and grow roots -- one of the spring onions did, the second one didn't...
