Pink daisy plague

igenlodeWeirdly, I discovered that not only did all my pink Swan River daisies all wilt at once, but the one I gave away *also* wilted at about the same time, despite being potted up into different compost in a different location under different conditions (while the blue ones that I gave away are flourishing, just as my blue Swan River daisies are). So it's extremely odd; it's as if they germinated with some kind of time-bomb inside them. Perhaps it was simply quite exceptionally hot that day, and that variety copes less well with the heat... but they haven't actually died. They are just looking constantly sick.
Meanwhile the replacement pink Swan River seed that I planted four days ago appears to be germinating already (no sign of the others, though).
I used the last dregs of my compost (it wasn't really enough) to repot the largest of the towel-tomatoes into the largest of my new plant-pots, and shan't be able to repot anything else at all until/unless I buy some more. Although the towel-tomatoes are now so heavy and bushy and mutually intertwined that it is pretty risky to move them at all; I had to supply this one with a sturdy stick to hold it up once I had removed it from the support of its neighbours, but managed to extract it from the jungle with the loss of only one small green tomato. Of course, I then had the problem of trying to fit the larger pot back into the space vacated by the smaller one...!
