I had a weird Voiceplay dream (probably due to an overdose of YouTube coupled with being too hot in bed, which always give me nightmares). Weird mainly because I don't generally dream about real people that I haven't met, and Voiceplay in particular don't normally inhabit my sleeping hours, with the exception of a one-off dream where Geoff Castellucci was manufacturing level crossing keys :-D

Just the usual social anxiety stuff (as in when I dreamt about being on aboard Errol Flynn's yacht, and falling off the gangplank into the mud to the great hilarity of the owner...) coupled with university memories I think; Voiceplay were somehow performing in what turned out to be an extremely small and down-at-heel venue locally, and I had cycled over to attend the concert and managed to leave my cycle helmet and high-vis vest (and, for some reason, shoes) behind in the trailer/portacabin they were using, but didn't realise this until well after the concert was supposed to have ended, due to having been hanging around talking to a fellow attendee outside the door afterwards. So then I had to retrieve my belongings in order to be able to set off home again, and was too embarrassed to do so.

The really weird thing, in retrospect, was that my subconscious had Eli (who was, for some reason, supposedly *sleeping* in the dressing-room, but was very decent about being broken in upon by total strangers) pick me up and swing me round by the waist. Which was bizarre in multiple directions -- not least because my dreams are not usually tactile, it is not something that to my knowledge I have ever had happen to me in my waking life, it was an odd thing to do in that context, and (with dawning hindsight) why *Eli* anyway, of all the possible members of Voiceplay, given that he is the one who is no taller than I am? ;-p

Mind you, I dare say he probably could pick me up, as could Buster Keaton, given that just about anyone my size (a) weighs more than I do (b) carries more actual muscle than I do...
