My various strawberry runners are still alive, which is about all that can be said for their progress since last August :-(
On the other hand, the mysterious unknown plant that looks like a strawberry and sends out invasive runners, but which didn't flower at all and the identity of which thus remains unknown, and which apparently self-seeded itself in amongst a lot of other 'wildflowers' (weeds), is busy putting out buds which look very much like incipient strawberries! I suppose it is theoretically possible that some bird dropped a half-digested strawberry seed into one of my pots and that they take a couple of years to come to maturity; I'm pretty certain I did not plant it.
It will at least be interesting to see how the flowers turn out...
I am getting on quite well with my new Gigi story -- but have had an enquiry as to whether there are likely to be any more chapters on my translation of Gefangene der Angst, which I have been feeling guilty about for a long time; a number of years, in fact. (It fell victim first to Arctic Raoul and then to Hertha.)
I do actually have most of the next chapter mostly ready to go, and simply awaiting fine-tuning on numerous points I wasn't clear about. Unfortunately my German has now become so rusty that I am even less likely to be clear about them than ever...
