Electricity costs
29 April 2022 01:21 amI've been running my annual bills (about a month behindhand), which enables me to compare electricity costs between this year and last year. The record starts in April, which means the winter months fall at the right-hand end of the graph; as you can see, the actual quantities of electricity used normally vary very little across the seasons. (I obviously misread the meter in June 2020, resulting in a spike which was then corrected by a sharp dip in the amount 'used' in the next month!)
In January 2022, the new price contract kicked in. Costs immediately went up to over 150% of their previous level :-(
