General mum disaster

After managing a second flush of mesembryanthemums -- another three late-germinating seedlings -- by bringing the pot inside, I had progressed to putting them back outside in daytime to try to give them enough sunlight. I came back at nine pm yesterday, went out to bring them in for the night, and discovered that they had all flopped again, presumably with the drop in temperature. The single-seed-leaf survivor, which had been showing signs of possibly putting out a pair of true leaves, has simply disappeared altogether (maybe the flop was due to being walked over by a slug instead?) I have no more seed, so if these die then that's it.
