Fishy!

You know summer is coming on when you find yourself hanging out washing at 4.30pm with the hopes that it might actually dry...

I bought a smoked mackerel for £5 at the market this morning -- the first real fish I've had in a long time, although I still have one tin of tuna left -- and made magic mackerel again. I think it was rather larger than the supermarket fillets (I got three helpings this time, and the proportion of mackerel to the other ingredients still seemed more generous than usual), but in any case the smell of fish is everywhere.
