igenlode: The pirate sloop 'Horizon' from "Treasures of the Indies" (Default)
Still working through my fanfiction.net favourites -- I got stuck for several days on Tavington's Heiress, since the site locked me out for up to 24 hours at a time while only allowing me access for a few minutes (also because the story is about half a million words long). L'Époux Cadavre, which is only half the length, I did in a single day by skimming; I'm not certain it's all that great (trying to have an Erik who is responsible for Persian atrocities and a fluffy bunny and Christine's true love -- I wasn't at all clear why, presumably because I skimmed all the E/C bits -- is a bit hard to pull off credibly), but the crossover is still very ingenious.

I've kept the link to Didokali's "Widdershins" as a placeholder, but the actual story appears to have been pulled and only exists on AOL, at https://archiveofourown.org/works/3504701/chapters/7703225 -- understandably, since like her By Any Other Name, some of which doesn't even make *sense* without the illustrations, it contains a lot of her fanart.
