Mend and put away

I've decided that it's time to perform the great annual clothing changeover; time for velour jackets to give way to linen and woolly jumpers to short-sleeved pullovers, for the long-johns to be packed up for next winter and the lightweight pyjamas to come out, for the riot of summer cottons to replace corduroy and velvet (and for all the medium-weight clothes to stay put, and continue wearing out twice as fast as everything else in consequence!)

Unfortunately this means patching ripped armpits and torn lining material, and all the other repairs that have been put off for weeks or months and suddenly have to be done before the stuff can be decently put away...
