I wrote this for a challenge prompt (which apparently I misunderstood) because I was procrastinating.
Always fun to watch the process of character/plot —and in this case, setting!— being created line by line from absolute zero...
"Don't look up now."
"Why not? Is it— Ouch! That hurt!"
"I said don't. Just stop it, you fool. You're not going to get loose, and I don't want to have to disable you — permanently."
"What are you playing at? I thought—"
"You thought we were friends? But then you've got a funny definition of friendship, haven't you? I've no desire to end up locked in the Hasdro like your last lot of crewmates... No, of course you didn't mean for that to happen. You never do. Now just keep your head down, and keep that all-too-recognisable face of yours out of sight of the visual pick-ups. The patrol will be flying over again in a minute."
"If you think your wages—"
"We'll discuss etiquette later — my lord."

Apparently the focus was supposed to be on 'embellish', meaning 'show what they are doing/how they are talking without telling it like "he replied reproachfully" or something like that'. So I left out the actual challenge section of the dialogue ;-p
