I've just had an almost totally crack-fic idea about the Lloyd Webber Phantom's plans for "Point of No Return" going horribly wrong in one aspect he *hadn't* anticipated causing any trouble :-p
A little too long for a drabble, I think, but I might get a few hundred words out of it.
In further news, sparklyscorpion's fiction has returned -- a rare happy ending!
And as for the Swedish story... I've almost finished plot point eight. Finally.
(Except that rereading that summary now, I see that I've not only left some bits out but completely altered the dynamic by which Erik explicitly drugs Christine to keep her from escape -- oops. But I think the inadvertent 'new' version probably works equally well. Maybe I ought to try to get the sheet music back in, though. I did remember it, but I think it got edited out at every mention.)

Date: 2018-07-15 01:52 am (UTC)After I'd come up with the initial idea I came to the conclusion that the possibilities weren't going to be very good, but it works out reasonably well, I think. Still no title, and I'm not sure about a summary...

Date: 2018-07-15 11:59 am (UTC)To be fair, I don't actually have a stack of censored substandard stories; everything I've written [and completed], I've uploaded. But I don't normally go as far as setting pen to paper until I've got a fair idea of the story's potential worked out in my head, which is one reason why I was holding off on this -- I couldn't see how I was going to make anything out of it. I still think the original crack inspiration is the weakest bit, but I'm quite pleased with the surrounding characterisation.
