igenlodeIt turns out that the tobacco-plants are actually red ones...
(Also, the Virginia stocks have definitely stopped flowering now, so those last few flowers through the winter must have been from very later-developing seedlings of the year before. I think the new seedlings probably are going to be more stocks, though.)
