So much for the time when I used to be able to wait each month for the day on which all of my stories had received at least one hit — this is the first time since February 2016! And as I upload more and more stories, these rare occasions will presumably come further and yet further apart...
"Lost and Found" is the usual culprit; it's often the only story to receive no hits at all month after month, and I thought it was because the Les Mis->stage fandom was pretty much stagnant, but it seems to have picked up recently, which may account for the solitary hit here. (The taste there seems to be for Eponine/Enjolras romance, which is a pairing involving two characters who barely even meet on stage :-p) It may also have been a side-effect from the relative popularity of "A Child of the Law", which continues to get a small but steady stream of views in the book-related fandom. "Paldit" and "Half a Savage" also rarely get hits, unsurprisingly as they're very obscure, and in this case the chapters probably got checked on as a result of my activity in the Blake's 7 fandom recently.
"All the Rules Rearranged" is still doing well despite having been released over two years ago; the figures for "Christmas as it ought not to be" seem to have been inflated this month by the fact that the ten people who clicked on the first chapter don't appear to be the same as the seven people who read the last chapter(!), but it does continue to get regular non-seasonal traffic. "Blue Remembered Hills" has been updated recently; the other bulge is on "Imprisoned by Fear", which hasn't been updated in rather too long (I got stuck translating the final mega-chapter), but several people read all through all 22 chapters and boosted the figures.
"Orc Patrol" got discussed on the Writer's Anonymous forum and hence saw an unusual amount of traffic (and even a review!)
"Water-horse", as always, got far more hits on the first chapter than on anything else (the summary must be misleadingly enticing), but did actually get several people reading it through this month, which is nice. As did "The Daaé Case" and "The Choices of Raoul", hence their relatively high views/visitors ratios — and, possibly, the larger number of hits on "Redemption" in consequence, although that one has consistently done well (maybe due to being tagged for Erik :-p)
On the whole, nice stats; the things I cared about got read through ("Please Pretend", which I care about less, got read through by one person ;-p) Pity about "The Sons of Éléonore", which got one solitary view this month on its first chapter, i.e. got glanced at and then rejected, and has never done all that well (the last chapter has a lifetime total of 83 pageviews ever since publication in 2015), because it's a good story. But it does get read sometimes, and got a relatively high number of reviews.
