22 September 2015 02:50 amSo here it is; a "Carmen" fanfic from Micaela's point of view, and probably the only one as such in existence! Just as with Philippe in Count Philippe Takes a Hand, I did end up finding myself much fonder of her by the end than I'd intended -- I don't suppose I shall ever see that particular little ingénue the same way again. It's amazing what putting yourself into somone else's shoes can do for your perception of them as a three-dimensional human being. Or perhaps not so surprising, after all.
