Plant activity

I did a little watering and feeding for the first time this year, as the pots felt suspiciously light (previously they have been raised up to keep them from sitting in a constant puddle!) Repotted the mullein and the holly, both of which were terribly potbound -- they should probably have been root-pruned, since I don't actually want them getting a lot bigger, but I shrink from inflicting wounds on the plant when it is not actively growing and when more hard frost is forecast.

I'd like to plant some seeds, since everything in nature is busy germinating (I have been thinning out the mass of poppy seedlings in the yellow poppy pot, and around the miniature rose), but again there seems little point, even in the mini-greenhouse, if more frosts are coming. Things do catch up with amazing speed once the temperatures are right...
