Narcissus

One of my narcissus bulbs (possibly the deepest-buried?) has put up a shoot, greatly to my astonishment and weeks after bulbs have been sprouting everywhere else! So I may possibly get belated daffodil flowers, and shall have to face the problem of how to over-summer the bulbs after all :-p

I do wonder if I didn't earth them in deeply enough, since the other pots all seem to have a tag of dry foliage from the top of the bulb visible on the surface... Anyway, one is quite enough to satisfy my curiosity.
