Ooch, that hurt. Where are those from? The style reminded me of excepts quoted in "Fenimore Cooper's Literary Offenses". Though at least they seem to belong more to the "purple and overwritten" school of the badfic rather than to "I've never read a book in my life" school and I tend to tolerate the former more than the latter.
