igenlodeListened to Puccini's "Manon Lescaut". It doesn't immediately grab me, although tunes seemed on the point of emerging from time to time (perhaps I should try Massenet's "Manon" instead!), but it did inspire me with a curiosity to read the Abbé Prevost's original novel, which I happen to know I've got on the shelves...
