Apparently I'm working as a beta-reader again: I'd decided not to offer my services in the official list, but it's hard to resist when you get an invitation like "you seem to be exactly the second pair of eyes that I'd like to have on my side" or "I can't even express how excited I am that you're willing to work with me"...

I never was any good at self-promotion: the only situation I feel comfortable in is one where (a) I excel and (b) I'm being very truly sought-after (like Old Man Kangaroo...)
