"Leave him hanging" does sound very awkward in any story with Erik in it. :D
Her repeating Erik's name in brackets after every mention of the Phantom reminds me of the audience participation screenings of Rocky Horror, where audience screams "Asshole!" and "Slut" every time Brad and Janet appear.

This Mary Sue is basically "Christine but cooler". Bleh. I prefer more original ones.
The typos are so consistent I'm starting to suspect it's a rather subtle parody. Or the author is very young and really bad at English.
