The humor of the series is absolutely delightful, but it won't trouble me if your story doesn't have that much of it - it seems B7 fics rarely do, and yours, at least, has the excuse of being a crossover with a canon with far less humor in it. I don't really mind the focus on Gan, he's quite a pleasant character and, even though I'm not interested in him specifically that much, I'd love to see his relationship with Blake explored (well, I'd love to see anyone's relationship with Blake explored...) and I can't but sympathize with less popular characters getting the spotlight.
Me getting into B7 was embarassingly predictable: I love Sci-Fi, dystopias and the 70s, and I love seeing the themes of revolution and authoritarianism in fiction. Generally clever, original writing and characterization and the abundance of snark do help the matters too. If anything, I would probably got interested earlier if these series weren't so damn obscure...
