Yes, I'm hoping to work the string of ginger children and maybe the sea-birds into the new fic (in fact, I've already put the children in, although since it's in a rather different context it's not such a nostalgic image...)
Bother. That reminds me that I've gone past the point where the sea-birds were meant to fit in, and of course going back to insert a long digression at that point is going to affect the pacing again :-(
I removed the children from this one because it did seem a bit over-optimistic to expect Hans to be sitting around speculating about the possibility of his offspring sitting on the throne without being tempted at least a little bit to make the outcome certain by hastening Elsa's demise before she could reproduce ;-p
