I have a tendency to forget that other people are actually potentially reading my blog entries -- I tend to assume I'm talking to myself! (I was late to the LiveJournal party and even later to Dreamwidth, so I don't exactly have a large friends list...) I've just realised that the reviewer I was talking about in my latest entry mentioned recently that she has been known to browse this blog on occasion -- oops. Just as well I didn't mention my guesses about problems the others might be having :-(
One thing I'm a bit worried about where this story/title are concerned is that I come across as 'bashing' Ashley, especially as it's standard practice on fanfiction.net; the fact that he feels culpable doesn't necessarily mean that he is culpable, but it's canon that he has a sensitive conscience and Scarlett has absolutely none -- I see him as the type to blame himself for her behaviour with a sense that he must somehow have subconsciously 'led her on' :-(
