Thank you! It's a classic case where one little change to the plot can provide a happy ending for everyone... well, almost everyone. The students of the ABC and Gavroche are still going to come to a sticky end, I suspect -- although with Marius reconciled with his father (who is unlikely to die of a broken heart if Cosette has anything to do with it), Éponine at least will have no motivation to go anywhere near the barricades.
