Writing in cold weather
Putting on writing clothes in place of electric fire. Knitted waistcoat to go under my jacket, silk scarf to fill in the front, knee-length slipper-socks in place of shoes (I'd forgotten about the fingerless gloves I used to wear - perhaps I should look for those?)
It's been a long time since it got really cold...
I've written three paragraphs of my 'Swedish story' in three days. If I keep this up between now and Christmas, I might have several chapters ;-)
(And if I wait until I happen to feel inspired to the tune of several pages before attempting to write, I shall have very little. On which note I ought to switch off the Internet and return to the fray...)

Anyway, that's why I was writing while walking up and down the (also unheated, but with all the windows shut) corridor instead!
