Roma, chilli, nettle

There are some seeds (the size looks plausible for tomato) germinating in the Roma tomato pot, which only took a week...

I hope they do better than the chillies, where most of the seeds that got as far as bending their necks to push upwards have gone brown and died without ever managing to straighten their heads :-(
We have one chilli standing upright, although it still hasn't managed to free itself from the seed-case, and a fresh set of two or three pushing up white necks, the first lot having more or less all disappeared. Ones that were initially buried deeper do seem to germinate into stronger seedlings -- they are just harder to spot!

(And mercifully I have plenty of spare seed to play with, and the knowledge that these plants do in fact reproduce successfully...)

To my enormous astonishment I discovered that KeapR has come back online (sites that expire of apparent old age and neglect almost never re-emerge, and *all* the recent entries are now mine, i.e. I am apparently the last remaining user!) Which means that all my old photo links now actually work again when clicked on, in addition to showing the preview thumbnail :-D

So here is a photo of my nettle pudding to celebrate...
