[Error: unknown template qotd]When I'm physically active all day and going to bed when it gets too dark to see, I'm quite capable of sleeping ten hours a day (9pm to 9am) on a consistent basis. I don't know if this is natural or simply an indication of my normal chronic sleep deprivation (I've been known to do four or five hours a night -- or not to go to bed until I hear other people starting to get up, then be roused by my alarm a couple of hours later).

[Error: unknown template qotd]Cloaks/long skirted coats for men. Simply because most people look better with a bit of flare and swirl hanging from the shoulders (I exclude floppy maxi-dresses!)

The revival of the trench-coat seems to be going some way towards this...


Waists on women. No hipster jeans -- no tunic tops -- no muffin tops spilling over a low-cut skirt; waists up where they ought to be.

Of course, you'd have to find women who still actually hadwaists first :-(
